THE BRAND

Aevum is a London based brand, born in 2018 with the aim of creating versatile and timeless products.

Elena, the founder, decided to use a latin word, Aevum “Eternity”, to homage her Roman roots as she describes her products as “…classics that never go out of fashion. You’ll be able to wear our products no matter what the season’s trend is”.

After a long phase of research we developed our first handbag characterized by a customizable interior.

This was made possible thanks to a system of lightly magnetised snap buttons. Our functional accessories can be easily and securely attached to the interior of the tote.

THE FOUNDER

Elena was born in Rome and has lived and worked in many cities around the world and recently moved to London.

With a corporate law background and an entrepreneurial spirit, she came up with the idea of starting Aevum while living in Cambridge.

After significant research and development she created Aevum’s first handbags: the Beryl and the Onyx.

Her long-term goal for the company is to create a wider range of versatile and timeless products, that can be used for different purposes “buy better, buy quality, buy less” and by involving in the process the best Italian artisans.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is to create products that will adapt to your daily needs and serve different purposes. We want to encourage you to buy smarter products that can be used on different occasions.

It is also important for us to deliver these great quality products at the best possible price.

We sell our products directly online (and sometimes in pop-up stores) and don’t run expensive marketing campaigns, therefore we are able to keep our prices low and still be able to offer you a great quality product.

PRODUCTION

All our products are handcrafted in Italy by our passionate and skilled Italian artisans in a small family run laboratory in the heart of Tuscany.

We believe it is important to support small businesses to help them preserve and hand down to future generations the art of crafting leather.
